Davey Milby's newly released, album debut, "Prosperity Road", is a collection of dark tales about his own past. Bluegrass, country, and classic rock were the only types of music he had been exposed to throughout his childhood. When the Seattle scene exploded, Davey found his passion for music. Since then, he has been writing songs and playing music that soothes his need for letting go of life's baggage.
Moving from Kentucky, to Nashville, and now residing in Memphis, Davey has experienced many different walks of life. Each day is a new inspiration for his ever-growing collection of songs.
His self-produced debut album is already in high demand by his online fan base. The collection of songs on "Prosperity Road" are songs that he wrote, and saw a message in, that others could use for inspiration and growth.
Davey has been compared to the likes of Eddie Vedder, Layne Staley, Kurt Cobain, Jim Morrison, Neil Young, Bob Dylan and Johnny Cash by many of his fans, friends, and industry contacts.
